A.H.Barhoush M.D. has been serving the Glades community for over 35 years. Dr. A.H. Barhoush completed his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt in 1966 and his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in New York and New Jersey from 1970 to 1973 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Jersey Medical School. He also completed training in GYN Oncology in 1974 at Margaret Hague Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Barhoush has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1974. Currently Dr. Barhoush is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetric & Gynecology at Nova Southeastern University. He is also a member of ACOG and International college of Surgeons
Johnica M. Bennett, DNP, CNM, ARNP Is a seasoned and compassionate healthcare specialist and educator with an in-depth career in Nursing Education, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Obstetrics, Women’s Health and Dermatology/Aesthetics. Dr. Johnica M. Bennett started her career as a Registered Nurse in 1996, and completed her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree (BSN) from Florida International University in 1998. She also completed a Master of Science Nursing Degree (MSN) from the University of Miami in 2003 with extensive training in midwifery and obtained board certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. Dr. Bennett has held faculty appointments with South University- West Palm Beach as well as Palm Beach Atlantic University since 2004. She received the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Miami in 2013 and conducted extensive research in the area of simulation technology for maternal child health nursing education. Dr. Johnica M. Bennett is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, Sigma Theta Tau International, Nursing Honor Society, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is committed to social service and care for women from all backgrounds and cultures.
